Gardere Associate Juliette A. Gallegos will be presenting the "Impact of New Health Care Rules on Retailers" at the Thursday session of the 2013 RILA Retail Law Conference, which is being held Oct. 16-18 at the Ritz-Carlton in Phoenix. The presentation will cover special challenges that retailers face in complying with the new law, specifically on how to determine whether full-time equivalent employees require compliance with the shared responsibility rules (the pay-or-play mandate).

Ms. Gallegos practices in Gardere's Tax Practice Group and is active with the Retail Industry Team, where she routinely advises her clients on matters related to employee benefits and executive compensation.

The Retail Law Conference is designed specifically for general counsel and their teams, affording them the opportunity to learn about the latest and most pressing legal issues in the retail industry. CLE credits are available. Additional information can be found here.
