2013 China M&A Annual Conference

The Conference, in its 10th year, attracted 600 of the leading M&A practitioners and deal sponsors from China and throughout Asia. The topic of Mr. Sacks's panel was the Opportunity for FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) in the United States. Participating with Mr. Sacks on the Panel were Wang Wei, Chairman of The China Mergers & Acquisition Association (CMAA), Lawrence Tian, Chairman of CMAA America Branch and Chairman and Founder of CIFCO International Group, and David Fergusson, President of The M&A Advisor.

Other speakers at the Conference included Lui Mingkang, former Chairman of China Banking Regulatory Commission, Lin Yifu, Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), Zhang Yichen, Chairman and CEO of CITIC Capital, Roy Kuan, Managing Partner for Asia, CVC Capital, Patrick Siewert, Managing Director of The Carlyle Group, and Ghassan Abdul Karim, CEO of the UAE National Holding. Founded in 2004, CMAA is headquarter in Beijing with branches in Mainland China and Hong Kong, Unites States, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.
