Mr. Lacktman will participate on a panel presentation titled, “Where Do We Go From Here?” The panel will discuss topics such as, what should we expect in the upcoming year related to telehealth policy? Where might there be opportunities to shape these policies? How might the new administration impact telehealth?
Mr. Lacktman will be joined by an expert panel including:
The Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center is one of the Telehealth Resource Centers (TRCs) funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service's Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Office for the Advancement of Telehealth, which is part of the Office of Rural Health Policy. Nationally, there are 14 TRCs. This includes 12 Regional Centers, all with different strengths and regional expertise, and two National Centers, one focusing on technology assessment and one on telehealth policy. MATRC’s mission is to provide technical assistance and other resources within the mid-Atlantic states in order to advance the adoption and utilization of telehealth within the region; and to work collaboratively with the other federally funded Telehealth Resource Centers to accomplish the same nationally.
