FASB Revenue Recognition Changes: Considerations for Franchisors

Gardere will co-host a discussion with industry leaders from BDO and franchisor finance departments, which will include an overview of the new revenue recognition rule and its impact on accounting for initial franchise fees, advertising fees, and gift card and loyalty programs.
The program will be moderated by Bill Hall, treasurer of the IFA, and includes a networking breakfast at 7:30 a.m. The discussion will begin at 8 a.m. Certified franchise executives will earn 50 CFE credits for attending.
