Financial restructuring and reorganization partner Jason B. Binford will participate in the panel discussion “Navigating the Distressed Oil and Gas World” at the National Association of Petroleum Engineers’ Global Business Conference Feb. 7. The panel will cover acquiring distressed assets in the oil patch, featuring perspectives from experts across the oil and gas industry.

“The 2018 NAPE Global Business Conference will address critical challenges and key opportunities in the oil and gas industry, from the anatomy of restructuring to the changing role of private equity,” said Greg Riedl, chairman of the NAPE Operators Committee. “As we celebrate NAPE’s 25th anniversary, we will have an opportunity to reflect on how the industry has progressed and look ahead to where the industry is trending.”

Binford is a bankruptcy attorney and a member of the firm’s global supply network industry team. He works with franchisors, franchisees and related parties to provide workable, real-world solutions to deal with financial distress.
