Waltz is co-presenting with Julie Burns, Office of the General Counsel CMS Division, US Department of Health and Human Services and Katie R. Fink, Senior Counsel, Office of the Inspector General, US Department of Health and Human Services. Their presentation will cover the following:

  • Use of data analytics
  • Medicare: Denials and revocations of billing privileges, enrollment moratoria
  • Payment suspensions (recent Medicaid targets as well as Medicare “sweeps”)
  • OIG CMPs and Exclusions–affirmative litigation
  • Medicaid Enforcement: CMS-led efforts, reciprocal terminations, enrollment actions
