Bistrow Appointed to Board of Directors of American Board of Certification

Foley is pleased to announce that the American Board of Certification of Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Attorneys (ABC) has appointed Mikel Bistrow, partner in the San Diego office, to serve a three-year term on the ABC's Board of Directors. The ABC's Board of Directors consists of many of the nation's finest bankruptcy and creditors' rights professionals.

The ABC is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the public and improving the quality of the bankruptcy and creditors' rights law bars. The ABC has certified nearly 1,000 attorneys practicing consumer and business bankruptcy and creditors' rights law nationwide. Ms. Bistrow is one of a small number of San Diego-based attorneys to be certified by the ABC in business bankruptcy.

Ms. Bistrow is a member of Foley's Bankruptcy & Business Reorganizations Practice Group as well as the western regional co-chair of the practice.
