Foley & Lardner LLP has launched Legal Innovation HubSM for NextGen Manufacturers to help clients facing the convergence of technology and manufacturing.

The initiative involves a firm-wide network of departments, industry teams and practice groups, according to a written statement.

The firm’s office in Tampa will be directly involved in the Foley Legal Innovation Hub.

Foley will partner with consulting firms, academia, government and industry associations in addition to using think tanks, social media platforms and roundtable discussions to assist manufacturing clients.

Nearly a third of the firm’s top 1,000 clients are in the manufacturing sector.

Florida has about 18,000 manufacturers employing 311,300 people. Pinellas County leads the Tampa Bay region in manufacturing employment with more than 30,000 employees.
