Texas Super Lawyers Recognizes 48 Gardere Attorneys

Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP is pleased to announce that 49 Firm attorneys representing 21 separate practice areas have been named to the 2012 Texas Super Lawyers list.

Twenty Gardere attorneys earned their 10th consecutive selections to the Texas Super Lawyers list, appearing every year since the list was first published in 2003. They are: Allen B. The Texas Super Lawyers list appears in the October 2012 issue of Texas Monthly, as well as the standalone Texas Super Lawyers magazine published by Thomson Reuters. Selections are based on peer nominations solicited from more than 70,000 attorneys across the state. An attorney-led research team then evaluates the candidates and determines the final list, which includes less than 5 percent of all Texas lawyers.

The Gardere attorneys named to this year's list were included based on their work in 21 practice areas: alternative dispute resolution, antitrust litigation, bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights, business litigation, business/corporate, civil litigation defense, construction/surety, white collar criminal defense, employment and labor, employment litigation/defense, environmental, estate planning and probate, family law, government contracts, insurance coverage, intellectual property, intellectual property litigation, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, securities and corporate finance, and tax.

Earlier this year, 18 Gardere attorneys earned selection to the Texas Rising Stars list, a companion to Texas Super Lawyers. The Texas Rising Stars listing recognizes the top up-and-coming Texas attorneys who are 40 or younger and those who have been in practice less than 10 years.
