Foley Creates New Award to Recognize Outstanding Corporate Governance Leaders

Foley’s National Directors Institute has established a new annual awards program to recognize the outstanding achievements of corporate governance leaders. The Director of the Year award program will honor both a public and private company director who has made a significant contribution to developing effective real-world governance strategies for adapting to the changing industry landscape.

Nominations are currently being accepted through August 26, 2013. To submit a nomination, please visit Winners will be selected by a panel of judges from public and private companies across a variety of industry sectors. The awards will be announced at the National Directors Institute Executive Exchange in Chicago on November 13, 2013.

Foley’s National Directors Institute offers a series of Web conferences and interactive programs throughout the year to help global and national business leaders address the latest developments in corporate finance and governance issues.
