The article discusses the Department of Justice indicting FedEx for distributing controlled substances and prescription drugs for illegal Internet pharmacies and FedEx’s intent to fight the charges. Guerrero discussed potential options for FedEx and was quoted saying, “It’s just an example of what happens when the government feels that they’re not being taken seriously.” He also shared insights on the case and mentioned that when a company receives a subpoena from the government, “the first step is to conduct an internal investigation.”
