Foley acted as legal counsel to Sino Clean Energy, Inc.’s (SCEI) Court-Appointed Receiver Robert W. Seiden and secured dismissal of an unauthorized bankruptcy filing brought against SCEI by former chairman Baowen Ren.

The Foley team prevailed and persuaded the Bankruptcy Judge that the bankruptcy filing was impermissible, was in violation of the receivership order and was filed based in part on false statements.

The Foley team included Katherine Catanese, Douglas Spelfogel and Susan Poll Klaessy.
