Foley & Lardner LLP attorney Leah Eisenberg has been named the 2018 New York Institute of Credit Women’s Executive of the Year. The award is presented to individuals who have achieved noteworthy success in business and who have assisted other women in achieving their goals. It also recognizes those who exhibit excellent entrepreneurial spirit.

Eisenberg is co-founder of the NYIC’s Women’s Division and was instrumental in fostering its growth and presence in the bankruptcy and restructuring community throughout the past decade. She has organized high-level panels and discussions with prominent female judges and professionals in the industry on topics that include mentoring, diversity, business development and leadership. She and her fellow officers also have selected and honored women judges and women professionals at annual NYIC award ceremonies and was the lead organizer for these events. In addition, Eisenberg currently serves as the president of the NYIC Women’s Division and is one of the first officers of the division.

“I am honored to now sit among the prestigious women who have received the NYIC Women’s Executive of the Year Award in previous years,” said Eisenberg. “I am passionate about networking with other women both within and outside my field of work, empowering them and discussing ways we can bring diversity and awareness into the workplace and the community. The NYIC is a fantastic outlet to do so in the credit industry and I cannot wait to see what’s in store for our Women’s Division in 2018.”

Eisenberg will be honored at the NYIC’s Women’s Division’s 11th Annual Women in Achievement Awards event in New York City on February 15, 2018. For more information, click here.
