Jackie Speier’s suggestion in an appearance on CNN that President Donald Trump may have violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Virginkar, a former federal prosecutor, said Speier apparently conflated money laundering and the FCPA, calling her comment about Trump “a complete non sequitur.”
