Partner Nate Lacktman was quoted in an mHealth Intelligence article, “CMS at ATA: Medicare Coverage of Telehealth Will Take Some Time,” about indications that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is moving toward Medicare coverage of telehealth.
Lacktman, who moderated a session on Medicare at the American Telemedicine Association conference in New Orleans, pointed out that CMS has taken some positive steps in expanding Medicare coverage, including the recent announcement that telehealth coverage will be included in Medicare Advantage plans beginning in 2020.
