Waltz Comments on Proposed Overhaul of Stark Law

14 October 2019 Fierce Healthcare News

Partner Judith Waltz was quoted in a Fierce Healthcare article, “3 areas of the Stark overhaul likely to give providers compliance headaches,” about two proposed rules designed to ensure that value-based care deals don’t run afoul of the Stark Law and the anti-kickback statute.

Waltz said the documentation requirements could be a big headache for providers. “There are so many documentation requirements that I do think it will be at least a lot of bother if not impossible to keep up with,” she said.
