Foley & Lardner LLP’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team represented InSight Telepsychiatry in its merger with Regroup Telehealth. The merger creates the country’s largest and most comprehensive telepsychiatry service provider in the United States, specifically with regard to the combined revenue, national footprint, diversity of client types, and diversity and quantity of their provider base. The combination will allow for increased delivery of mental health services across the country in response to a nationwide shortage of specialists coupled with a rising need for behavioral health services.
The Mt. Laurel, New Jersey-based InSight Telepsychiatry brings to bear more than twenty years of telepsychiatry experience, serving hundreds of organizations in various settings with its on-demand, scheduled, and direct-to-consumer (Inpathy) divisions. Since its inception, InSight has maintained its reputation as a trusted and experienced industry thought leader by upholding a high standard of clinical care and actively advocating for industry changes to improve the adoption of telebehavioral health.
“This merger gives us the unique opportunity to lead consolidation within our market and cements our position as the industry leader and premier telepsychiatry employer with opportunities to grow across different care settings and patient populations,” stated Geoffrey Boyce, CEO of InSight. “Combining resources and expertise will allow us to better meet the needs of our partners and support their behavioral health goals and growth objectives.”
Senior Counsel Hannah Zaitlin led the Foley team, which included Nathaniel Lacktman, Jacqueline Acosta, Olivia King, Claire Marblestone, Amy Nguyen and Kelly Thompson.
