Partner Alejandro Gómez Strozzi, was quoted in an El Financiero article, “Mexico Defendera en la OMC su Posture Contra EU: SE” on the individual disputes that the United States presented at the World Trade Organization against Mexico, China, Canada, the European Union and Turkey. “The file with which the U.S. issued the measures against steel and aluminum is very weak. Even the President of the United States has argued against it several times when he has stated that the measures under Section 232 were taken to put pressure on Mexico and on Canada to give-in in the NAFTA renegotiation process. ”
