Foley’s 2019 50-State Telehealth Survey is cited in a MobiHealthNews article, “Laws ensuring commercial insurance coverage for telehealth increasing among states,” about the survey’s findings.
The article noted that while the survey found an improvement in the telehealth reimbursement landscape over the last few years, the authors of the report warned that state-to-state variance in the language of the laws limited their impact. Yet they expressed hope that those numbers would improve in the coming years.
“We predict that 2020 will yield more states enacting new telehealth insurance coverage and payment parity laws or amending current laws to better account for the current state of telehealth,” they wrote.
