On June 5th, the Business Reorganizations, Real Estate, and Construction Practices at Foley co-sponsored with Deloitte & Touché the forum entitled Hardships in Homebuilding: Perspectives on an Increasingly Distressed Market in our Chicago office.
Partner Michael P. Richman, Foley Business Reorganizations chair, welcomed the broad audience of 65 attendees which included homebuilders, developers, their lenders, and their investors.
The panel included two Foley partners, Jill Murch and Bill McKenna, and discussed several relevant topics such as recent trends and forecasts, analysis of homebuilders, developer and lender considerations, workouts and bankruptcy followed by an interactive Q&A session.
Overall, the forum provided excellent information and cross-marketing opportunities for both Foley attorneys, our clients, and prospective clients.
