Since completing two terms as Wisconsin governor, Gov. Doyle joined Foley and has become a strong advocate and advisor in the health care arena. He is an essential advisor to our health care clients and will play a major role at the federal and state levels as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) rolls out to implementation.
Rep. Klug, after serving four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, now represents a broad array of Foley clients on health care, insurance, financial services, telecommunication, and energy matters in Washington, D.C. and several state capitals. He also served two terms on the president’s Advisory Board on Trade and Policy Negotiations, providing counsel on issues such as fast track authority, CAFTA, and trade with China.
Gov. Doyle, Rep. Klug and their Foley colleagues will address the tax and budget issues facing the upcoming “lame duck” session of the 112th Congress (commencing November 13) and the 113th Congress, as well as the campaign finance, environment, energy, antitrust, immigration, labor, and intellectual property issues that will be at the forefront of the second Obama administration. This complimentary program includes an opportunity for questions from participants, which can be emailed during the Web conference. The recording of the presentation will be available immediately after the Web conference.
