Corporate Partner Timothy M. Spear has been selected to moderate a panel discussion on "Deep Industry Drill Down: Oil & Gas and Energy" at the 2014 Southwestern M&A and Private Equity Forum. This session will cover commodity price trends and their impact on M&A activity, current trends in unconventional resource plays, the impact of international buyers, and more.
The Southwestern M&A/Private Equity Forum brings together leading players in the deal community who are active participants on the front lines of many of the recent headline deals and who are helping to craft strategies for transactions currently under formulation. Panel discussions will focus on how strategies need to be shaped in light of current valuation, pricing and fiduciary duty trends, as well as shareholder activism and today's 'hot button' issues.
