Charles E. Meacham, U.S. partner in charge of Gardere’s Mexico City office from 1992-96, will lead a roundtable discussion on developing and maintaining a law firm company culture at the USMBA annual conference in San Diego Sept. 28.
In this roundtable, participants will discuss how company culture affects productivity, whether firms should have a culture strategy, and who is responsible for the company culture. They will also discuss tactics on how to improve culture, and offer suggestions on what not to do to foster an ideal culture.

Meacham opened the Gardere office in Mexico City in 1992 and was the resident U.S. partner in charge until 1996. Co-chair of Gardere’s international practice group, he regularly advises clients doing business or seeking to do business in Mexico and Latin America on how to structure investments and projects, including cross-border joint ventures, public bids for infrastructure projects, acquisitions and divestitures, international contracting matters and FCPA compliance.
