Home Health Technology Summit 2018

Thomas (T.J.) Ferrante, a senior counsel in the firm’s Telemedicine Industry Team and Digital Health Group, will be a speaker at the 2018 Home Health Technology Summit, March 4-6, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana. His presentation is titled, “Telehealth legal and regulatory hurdles.”

There are numerous regulatory issues and complexities when creating a telehealth company or service program, particularly if the provider wants to deliver these services across states or across countries. T.J. Ferrante will explore what agencies and health systems need to know when considering creating such a service, including concrete examples of business models and structures home health providers could use in-state and abroad.
