Foley associate, Julie McGinnis will host the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) roundtable series on Thursday, April 12 in Foley’s Milwaukee office.
The roundtable discussion will focus on IP due diligence and gathering information and analyzing the value of and risks associated with IP and IT assets. A comprehensive IP due diligence review is particularly important in M&A transactions since IP has been and is increasingly becoming an important component of a seller’s business and a buyer’s acquisition model. The consequences of mismanaging IP due diligence can be severe, and this roundtable will address how to avoid pitfalls and ensure a thorough vetting of a seller’s assets.
