Transportation Lawyers Association Annual Conference
Peter A. McLauchlan, chair of Gardere’s maritime and aviation industry team, will speak at the Transportation Lawyers Association Annual Conference in Orlando May 2-5. McLauchlan’s panel discussion, “You Have to Hit the Ball to Hit a Home Run: Pending Changes in Aviation Infrastructure,” will take place May 4.
In addition to discussing infrastructure affecting airports and cargo carriers, the panel will explore whether President Trump's plan to revolutionize international aviation will have a positive impact on airlines.
McLauchlan has represented clients in maritime, aviation, energy, transportation and commercial matters worldwide for nearly 30 years. Prior to practicing law, McLauchlan worked as captain and chief engineer with a California-based shipping company and as a representative for a major shipping company in the Gulf South, giving him firsthand experience in maritime law matters.
