Foley Senior Counsel Thomas (T.J.) Ferrante, member of the firm’s Telemedicine and Digital Health Industry Team, will present at the New York Society for Health Planning’s (NYSHP) 2019 Spring Meeting in New York City on May 9, 2019. His presentation is titled: “Telehealth in New York: Legal, Regulatory, and Business Considerations.” Mr. Ferrante will be joined by Howard Reis, President of HEALTHePractices and together they will lead a practical discussion of legal and business issues involved in cutting edge health information technology, including: (a) Payment and reimbursement opportunities for telemedicine services, including opportunities under state, federal, and commercial payers; (b) Business models and compensation methodologies in telehealth arrangements; and (c) What to expect in 2019.
