Hazy Laws on Medical Marijuana May Leave Employers Dazed, Confused
October 26, 2014
Attorneys Mark Neuberger and Larry Perlman wrote an article, “Hazy Laws on Medical Marijuana May Leave Employers Dazed, Confused,” which appeared in the Miami Herald on October 26, 2014. The article discussed likely changes for Florida employers if Amendment 2, which would allow Floridians broader access to medical marijuana, passes on November 4, 2014. Neuberger and Perlman suggested employers consider that federal regulations or licensure trump potential state changes and adapt accordingly to remain in compliance.
