Attorneys Robert Weisbein, Selig Sacks and Janina Gorbach contributed an article to Intellectual Property Magazine, “Wind of Change in Chinese Trademark Disputes,” on September 1, 2015. The article discussed the a recent win for menswear designer Michael Bastian in China, which market the first time a non-Chinese entity won a trademark opposition dispute based on bad faith of the trademark registrant. The article provided insight on the history of trademark disputes in China, an amendment to trademark law and pointers for businesses considering operations in China.
