This episode of The Path & The Practice features a conversation with Jen Patton. Jen sits in Foley’s Houston office and is the firm’s Chief Legal Talent Officer. Jen reflects on growing up in Minnesota, outside of the Twin Cities, attending Rice University as a collegiate athlete, spending a few years in investment banking, and then attending The University of Texas School of Law. She discusses the years she spent as a litigation associate at a large law firm and the move she later made to the Supreme Court of Texas, first working as a staff attorney and later as the court’s general counsel. Jen also shares how her GC role planted the seeds for her transition to attorney talent management and discusses her position as Foley’s Chief Legal Talent Officer.
