Foley & Lardner LLP is proud to have earned top marks nationally as the No. 11 and No. 19 law firm in summer associate surveys published by Law360 and The American Lawyer, respectively.
In the second portion of a two-part survey, Law360 received feedback from more than 750 law school students about their summer associate experience, ranking firms in areas such as work assignments, networking and mentorship, the impact of COVID-19, firm culture, and socialization.
The annual survey from The American Lawyer polled approximately 2,900 summer associates from 71 law firms about associate-summer associate interaction, accuracy of firm self-portrayal, overall rating as a place to work, and inclination to accept full-time associateship.
Foley’s 2021 summer associate class included 67 law students working across 16 offices in the United States. The program conquered several unique challenges due to the ongoing pandemic and ultimately provided a meaningful experience that exposed the students to challenging work assignments, pro bono opportunities, training, and a variety of networking events.
