Foley Hosts Fireside Chat with Oshkosh GC Ignacio Cortina for Hispanic Heritage Month
Since 1968, the United States has celebrated Hispanic Heritage Week. Over the years, we’ve expanded the celebration to a full month, starting on September 15 and ending on October 15. The unique set of dates signifies the anniversary of a number of Hispanic and Latin American countries’ independence.
This year, in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Foley’s Hispanic Attorneys Affinity Group hosted a virtual firm-wide conversation with Ignacio A. Cortina, Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary, of Oshkosh Corporation. During the discussion, in conversation with Foley partner Jaime Guerrero, Ignacio reflected on his career path, provided advice to lawyers, and shared his thoughts on diversity in the legal profession. Many thanks to Pat Quick and Jessica Gonzalez for making the program possible.
