In May 2007, Detroit partner Ray Carey became president of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. During his one-year term, Carey is responsible for the bar association’s charitable foundation and for member services including continuing education, networking, pro bono efforts and opportunities for the association to become involved in the Detroit community.
Ray has served twice on the Detroit Bar’s board, having been elected to the board five years ago and re-elected two years ago. Last year, Ray became president-elect.
