Lawrence Litwak Joins Expanding Boston Health Care Practice.
Foley announced today that Lawrence Litwak has joined the firm’s Boston Office. He will be a member of the firm’s Health Care Industry Team.
“The addition of Larry is the latest step in our strategic plan to expand the Boston office in key practice areas such as health care,” said Boston Office Managing Partner Susan Pravda. “Since opening our doors here three years ago we have brought on more than three dozen attorneys, and we plan to continue expanding particularly in our corporate, IP and health care practices.”
Litwak’s practice focuses on transactional and related regulatory matters of fraud and abuse, tax exempt organization and financing issues, and determination of need matters, as well as governance and corporate matters concerning nonprofit institutions. He has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating affiliations and business relationships, including mergers, acquisitions and changes of ownership; joint ventures; medical practice acquisitions; the development of health care networks; hospital–physician arrangements and a variety of contractual arrangements. Litwak joins Foley from Brown Rudnick.
