Social Media Club covered the topic of Social Media and the Law at its July program in Dallas. Gardere Partner Peter S. Vogel, chair of the Firm's Internet, eCommerce and Technology Industry Team, spoke as a panelist. The discussion topics included intellectual property requirements, copyright requirements and social media infringements.
"The Internet is changing very quickly, but the law doesn't change that quickly," Mr. Vogel said.
