Foley announced today that Douglas Stanford and Pamela M. Brown have joined the firm’s Real Estate Practice in the Orlando office.
As of counsel at Foley, Stanford brings an extensive background in all aspects of real estate and asset-based commercial transactions. His practice focuses on a broad array of real estate matters, including purchase and sale transactions, mortgage and asset-based financing and loan workouts and restructures. Stanford regularly advises on development, leasing and financing matters for high-profile projects involving offices, industrial parks, hotels and resorts, shopping centers, restaurants and homeowners associations, among others.
Brown, who joins the firm as special counsel, has significant experience in complex commercial real estate transactions. She regularly represents clients in property acquisitions, dispositions and sales; development, financing and leasing transactions; loan workouts and restructures; and corporate, partnership and limited liability company entity formation. Brown also advises on mortgage and asset-based financing, and earlier in her career, worked in mortgage banking where she specialized in the secondary mortgage market.
“We are thrilled that Doug and Pam are bringing their vast experience in complex commercial real estate transactions to our office,” said Michael Gay, managing partner of Foley’s Orlando office. “Their ability to guide clients through the intricacies of various real estate deals and financing arrangements, as well as their deep familiarity with the unique issues facing the commercial development and hospitality industries, is a terrific complement to our talented team in Florida.”
