FOX 26 News Houston spoke with Amari Venzor of Cornelius Elementary School and Gardere Operating Partner Claude R. Treece about the Gardere MLK Jr. Oratory Competition, which took place Jan. 17.
“I really like to write speeches, and I like to present.” said Amari, the first-place winner of this year’s competition. “I thought this would be a great opportunity. I’m talking about such a very important man in human history, so it all came together as one.”
