The Dallas Morning News announced that the 22nd Annual Gardere MLK Jr. Oratory Competition is being streamed live for the first time on Dallas ISD's website and cable channel for the Friday, Jan. 17 final competition. The district will live stream the contest on its website, Dallasisd.org, and on its cable channel 98 on Time Warner Cable. The event is free and open to the public.
The Gardere MLK Jr. Oratory Competition, co-presented by Dallas ISD and Houston ISD, will take place in Dallas at The Majestic Theatre at 11:00 a.m. and in Houston at the historic downtown Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m.
