Associate Christopher Swift was quoted in an article in Fierce Homeland Security on February 5, 2014 titled “ Terrorism analysts: Jihadi aren’t all threats.” The article discusses a House Armed Services Committee hearing held on February 4, 2014, in which analysts cautioned against viewing jihadi groups as a homogeneous threat to the United States. Swift was quoted saying, “Part of what we’ve gotten wrong is the ability to draw distinctions and set priorities based on our interests, not based on the threatening things that groups may say.”
