Waltz Quoted on Consequences of Delay of New Version of ICD-10

Partner Judith Waltz was quoted in an article published in Benefits Pro on May 13, 2014, titled “The Downside of Delay.” The article explained the unexpected consequences for health care professionals and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) resulting from the delay of implementing a new version of ICD-10, an internal diagnostic coding system. Waltz was quoted saying, “It’s an unfair delay because it penalizes the people who were really working hard to be ready.”
