Foley & Lardner LLP is pleased to announce that Blane Prescott has been appointed as the firm’s new chief operating officer. Prescott will succeed Darrell Ohlhauser following Ohlhauser’s retirement after nearly 16 years of service with the firm.
Prescott has vast experience in the legal profession, most recently having served with Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, a Denver-based national law and lobbying firm, where he had oversight responsibility for a broad array of management and operational functions. Prior to joining Brownstein, Prescott served in a senior role at Thomson Reuters/Hildebrandt International, where he counseled both domestic and global law firms on a variety of issues.
“We are thrilled to have Blane join Foley’s leadership team given the caliber of his experience and his deep knowledge of the legal profession and the clients we serve,” said Foley Chairman and CEO Jay Rothman. “Blane’s expertise in organizational development, along with his proven track record of driving successful strategies for growth and enhanced client service, will be valuable assets to our organization and our clients. We are grateful for the many contributions Darrell Ohlhauser made to the firm and are confident that Blane will continue to build on the solid foundation that Darrell will leave behind.”
“I am honored to have been appointed to this role at Foley,” said Blane Prescott. “I look forward to contributing to the growth and development of the firm and aim to build upon the innovative successes achieved under Darrell’s leadership.”
