Report on Medicare Compliance
Partner Judith Waltz was quoted in an article published in the Report on Medicare Compliance on December 8, 2014, titled “Providers Could Lose Billing Privileges for Persistent Errors Under Enrollment Rule.” The article discussed how providers that repeatedly submit noncompliant claims may have their billing privileges revoked, according to the final Medicare enrollment regulation published in the Federal Register on Dec. 5. Waltz was quoted saying, “It’s not black-and-white grounds for revocation, like a felony conviction,” and “It may not involve fraud at all.”
