Partner Gardner Davis was quoted in a Bloomberg news article, “Body Central to Close All 265 Stores, Fire 2,500 Workers,” on January 9, 2015. The article discussed the company’s decision to move forward with a state process instead of a federal bankruptcy. Davis was quoted saying, “The company wanted to reorganize as a smaller chain, but it was unable to raise the financing necessary. This process is less expensive, faster and more flexible.”
