Partner Nathaniel Lacktman was quoted in a mHealth Intelligence article, “Telehealth Gains Favor in Florida,” on March 16, 2016. The article discussed the recently passed legislation in Florida that would create a Telehealth Advisory Council, whose main goal is to produce a report that outlines how telemedicine can be expanded in the state and what barriers may need to be removed. Lacktman said the Florida Legislature’s actions are, “a great step forward for providers of telehealth services … Continued expansions in reimbursement mean providers can enhance telehealth offerings, both for the immediate cost savings and growing opportunities for revenue generation, to say nothing of patient quality and satisfaction.”
