Foley Partner Nathaniel Lacktman, member of the firm’s Health Care Industry Team and Telemedicine and Virtual Care Practice, was quoted in the June 2016 issue of Report on Medicare Compliance. The article discussed key billing and coding compliance issues for Medicare telehealth services, as well as the 25 percent increase in telehealth claims submitted to Medicare in 2015. Lacktman was quoted saying, “More Medicare doors will open for telehealth in advanced payment models, including the Medicare Shared Savings Program, the Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) model and Next Generation Accountable Care Organizations.”
