Chair Holly O’Neil Discusses Texas Business Climate with CNBC

CNBC spoke with Gardere Chair Holland N. O’Neil about Texas’ role in bringing small businesses to the state from across the country.

“Texas is very attractive for business,” said Ms. O’Neil. She added that the state has attracted many corporate relocations because of its friendly tax climate. Texas, which has the second largest state economy in the U.S., does not have a corporate income tax, state property taxes or individual income taxes, which is appealing to organizations that are looking to relocate.
