Noller Comments on New Health Care Fraud Unit in Chicago U.S. Attorney’s Office

Partner Lisa Noller was quoted in a Crain’s Chicago Business article, “Health Care Fraud: The Hot New Legal Practice,” which covered whether a newly formed health care fraud unit in the Chicago U.S. Attorney’s Office will create an uptick in business for white collar criminal defense lawyers.
Government enforcement actions of late in health care have created significant business for lawyers like herself, Noller said. “It’s the result of better coordination between three government agencies – the DOJ, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid services and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services – combined with prosecutors who’ve devoted their careers to this area of law.”
