Dallas ISD Covers the Martin Luther King Jr. Oratory Competition in The Hub

The Hub, the Dallas Independent School District’s online newsletter, covered the Gardere MLK Oratory Competition in its recent post, “16 students vie for spots in 26th Gardere MLK Jr. Oratory Competition.”
The publication reports, “Students at participating Dallas ISD schools wrote their own speeches based on this year’s theme, ‘What is your dream for today’s world?’ Their speeches are judged on their writing and delivery.”
The Dallas semifinals will take place Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at Cesar Chavez Learning Center, and the Houston semifinals will be Friday, Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. at Thompson Elementary School.
