Bloomberg Politics quoted Gardere tax chair James Howard in an article on how the revised tax policy will impact employee bonuses at major corporations such as Walmart and AT&T.
“These big bonuses will reduce income for the relevant year, which will lower the effective rate for that year,” said Howard.
Howard represents domestic and international clients in sophisticated matters involving corporate tax law, finance and securities, primarily in the energy and real estate sectors.
