Foley’s Tampa office and Special Counsel Debra Smietanski have been honored for exceptional pro bono service to the Tampa Bay community.
In an April 19, 2018, ceremony, the office received the Outstanding Pro Bono Service by a Law Firm award from the 13th Judicial Circuit’s Pro Bono Committee, its pro bono program, H.A.V.E. A HEART (Hillsborough Attorneys Volunteer Efforts), and the Bay Area Legal Services’ Volunteer Lawyers Program. Smietanski received the Outstanding Pro Bono Service by a Lawyer award.
The awards recognize a lawyer and a law firm that in 2017 made significant contributions of pro bono legal services to poor individuals, or to charitable organizations whose primary purpose is to provide non-legal assistance to the poor.
